Terms of Service

Last updated 31 October 2026

1. Who we are

ClaimBob is provided by Anecco LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, filing ID 2023-001378763, trading as ClaimBob, 30 N Gould St #39553, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@claimbob.co.uk.

These terms apply to your use of ClaimBob by you and the business you act for (“you”). ClaimBob is a service for businesses, not consumers.

2. What the service does

ClaimBob checks health and nutrition claims in image, text and video ads, and the landing pages they link to, for food supplements and other food and drink products, against the GB nutrition and health claims register, the CAP Code and the advertising policies of the platform you choose, and suggests rewrites. It applies the rules for Great Britain only, not those of Northern Ireland or the EU. One check covers one ad with up to 10 images (carousel cards count as images) or one video (up to 3 minutes, or 5 on Growth and above), plus its landing page. An ad is not split over more than one check: for more images, you run another check. A longer video than your plan allows cannot be checked; shorten it first. A check that cannot run because we could not tell whether the product is a food or a supplement uses no checks. The service does not cover alcoholic drinks, pet food, CBD products, products that are not food (such as creams, patches and devices), or the rules on advertising less healthy food and drink (HFSS).

3. Not legal advice: your ads are your responsibility

ClaimBob is a tool to help you find and fix risky claims. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Checks are automated and may miss problems or flag things that are fine.

You are responsible for the final content of your ads, landing pages and products, for any evidence behind your claims, and for deciding what to publish.

4. No guarantee of approval

We do not guarantee that any ad will be approved, or not removed, by Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat or any other platform, or that it will not be the subject of a complaint or ruling by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) or any other regulator. Their decisions are theirs alone.

5. Plans, payment and checks

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly (the Light plan is monthly only), through our payment provider, Stripe. A yearly plan costs 10 times the monthly price. Prices are shown on our pricing page exclusive of VAT. The service is for business customers only.

Each plan includes a number of checks a month, on monthly and yearly billing alike. They reset every month; unused checks do not carry over. During a paid plan you can buy 10 extra checks at the price for your plan shown in the app; the Light plan has no extra checks. Extra checks can be used for 3 months from purchase and are used after your plan's checks for the month.

Without a plan you can buy a single check of one ad and its landing page for £19, exclusive of VAT, paid once; it is not a subscription. It can be used for 3 months from purchase and includes one free re-check of the corrected version of the same ad within 14 days of its report. A single check cannot be bought while a plan is running.

Moving to a bigger plan takes effect immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of your billing period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect from your next billing period.

6. Cancelling and closing your account

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for (the month, or the year on yearly billing), with its monthly checks, and is not renewed after that. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it or when you join a team (clause 7).

The account owner can close the account in the app once its plan has ended, and we can also close an account. From then, no new checks can be run, and members of a team go back to their own accounts. 90 days after it is closed, the account is deleted with its checks, reports and team; billing records we must keep by law are kept until the law lets us delete them.

7. Teams

The account owner can invite colleagues to the account, up to the number of users their plan includes plus any extra users they have added (below), or as agreed in writing for a custom plan. Everyone in a team shares the account's checks and reports: the account owner and every member can see each check run in the team, who ran it and when. Reports a member had before joining a team are private to them unless they choose to share them with the team, and they go with them if they leave.

Only the account owner can change the plan, see payments and invoices, and invite or remove people. A check can be deleted by the person who ran it or by the account owner; a report a member brought in and keeps private can only be deleted by that member. When someone leaves or is removed, the checks they ran in the team stay with the account, still showing their name, and they no longer have access to them.

If you join a team while you have a paid plan of your own, your plan ends when you join and we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for to the card you paid with. Extra checks you have bought move to the team. A founding discount stays with the account it was given to and does not move with you into or out of a team.

Extra users: on any plan the account owner can add extra users under Team and settings for £20 a month each, exclusive of VAT, up to 10 users in all, including the users the plan includes; for more, contact us. Extra users are billed monthly in advance as a separate subscription from the plan. Adding one charges the rest of the current billing month straight away, pro rata; removing one takes the unused part of the month off your next invoice. Discounts on plans, including the founding discount, do not apply to extra users. Extra users end when your plan ends and are paused while your plan is paused.

The account owner is responsible for telling the people they invite how the team's data is shared.

8. Founding customers

Our first 10 paying customers (“founding customers”) receive 30% off the list price of their plan, monthly or yearly, for as long as their subscription stays active without a break. The founding discount applies to the Starter, Growth and Scale plans, not to the Light plan: on Light a founding customer pays its list price, and the discount applies again if they move to a plan above it. The founding discount applies to the plan only, not to extra users (clause 7).

If a founding customer's subscription ends, for any reason, the founding discount ends with it and does not apply to any later subscription. Changing plan, or a pause we have agreed, does not end it.

9. Discounts and promotion codes

Discounts are always calculated from the list price and are never combined: a new discount replaces any discount you already have for as long as it runs. We may publish promotion codes or give them to you. A code applies only on the conditions shown with it, for example new customers only, monthly plans only or an end date. Codes may expire and have no cash value.

We may offer one free preview per person. We can change or withdraw it at any time, and set conditions for it, such as a confirmed email address.

10. Done-for-you audits

An audit covers the number of image, text or video ads you paid for, each with its landing page, checked with ClaimBob and reviewed by a person, with suggested rewrites. Clauses 3 and 4 apply to audits too.

After delivery you receive a one-time code for 50% off the first month of any monthly plan, valid for 14 days.

11. Our liability

Our total liability to you for everything arising out of or in connection with ClaimBob, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, for indirect or consequential loss, or for fines, ad spend, rejected or removed ads, or regulatory action.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

12. Your content

You keep all rights in the ads and material you upload. You let us process them only to provide the service. You must have the right to upload them.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
